The Serving Effect
Service Above Self: Rotary Club
This episode takes a special turn as we spotlight two of our strongest community partners: the Garner Rotary Club and the Garner Mid-Day Rotary Club.
Joining us are Ben Wadsworth (Garner Rotary) and Chad Massengill (Garner Mid-Day Rotary), two local leaders living out the Rotary International motto: Service Above Self.
Together with Able to Serve, these Rotary clubs are making a lasting impact—through hands-on service, strategic support, and community connection. From funding service projects to showing up as volunteers, their partnership is helping adults with disabilities live with purpose and serve others.
Tune in for an inspiring conversation about why service matters, how collaboration makes it stronger, and what it looks like when people come together to create real change in their hometown.
Whether you're a longtime Rotarian or just curious about what it means to serve, this episode will leave you encouraged—and challenged—to find your place in the ripple effect of doing good.
